4. How does the discovery call work?

The discovery call is a 30-minute conversation where we discuss your hotel's current situation, challenges, and goals. Following the call, I provide a first proposal with recommendations. From there, we can schedule a more detailed session to adjust the proposal and start developing a custom plan.

5. How long does a typical project last?

The duration of a project depends on the scope and needs of your hotel. I offer both short-term and long-term support, including temporary task force work, ongoing consultancy, or specific one-time services.

6. Do you work with hotels outside of Vancouver?

Yes, I have extensive experience working with international markets, and my services are available to hotels worldwide. While most of my work is done remotely, I also travel regularly to personally experience the hotel environment and provide more in-depth, on-site support when needed. This approach allows me to offer flexible, global services while still maintaining a personal connection with my clients.

7. What makes your consultancy unique?

I bring a hands-on, personalized approach to each project. With experience in every aspect of hotel management, I can quickly adapt and provide practical solutions that drive results. As a one-person team, you’ll receive dedicated attention and customized strategies.

8. Can you act as a temporary team member for my hotel?

Absolutely! I offer task force services, working mostly remotely from Vancouver, Canada. While I may not be able to cover on-site shifts, I can seamlessly step in to support your team in areas such as reservations, revenue management, sales representation, organizing teams, and managing back-office operations. For hotels in British Columbia, I can also be more physically present on occasion and am available to travel when needed. Whether you're facing staffing shortages or need extra support, I’m here to help.

9. Do you offer remote consulting?

Absolutely. I can work with your team remotely, providing the same level of service and support as I would on-site. This allows me to work with hotels from around the world, regardless of location.

10. What are your fees?

I offer flexible pricing based on your specific needs. We can work on a retainer basis for ongoing support, an hourly basis for short-term projects, or a project-based fee for specific initiatives. During our discovery call, we’ll discuss what works best for your situation and budget.

11. Can suppliers present their products to you?
